How-to:
Step 1: Start by prepping the hair with a gel or pomade to help the braids maintain their hold.
Step 2: Take three small pieces of hair at your hairline and weave each piece under rather than over (the opposite of a French braid).
Step 3: Repeat the pattern, whilst adding more hair (about a half- to three-quarter-inch) from the root each time you weave a new section.
Step 4: Once you reach the nape of your neck, switch to a regular three-strand braid.
